1. Agreement to terms

By accessing or using DIYrr (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the App. DIYrr is free for homeowners and does not require an account.

2. What DIYrr is — and isn't

DIYrr uses artificial intelligence to generate general, informational guidance on home repairs based on a description and/or photos you provide. DIYrr is not a licensed contractor, engineer, electrician, plumber, or inspector, and using the App does not create a professional relationship of any kind. AI-generated content can be incomplete or inaccurate. Permit and code information reflects general Florida Building Code and Orange County/City of Orlando sources current as of the date shown in the app — it is not legal advice, local rules change, and you should always confirm requirements with your local building department before starting work.

3. Your responsibility

• You are solely responsible for any decision to attempt a repair, and for your own safety.
• Always consult a licensed professional for electrical work beyond a simple like-for-like swap, gas lines or appliances, structural or load-bearing changes, roof work, and main-line or in-wall plumbing.
• If anything about a repair feels unclear, unsafe, or beyond your skill level, stop and contact a licensed professional.
• You are responsible for confirming permit requirements with your local building department before starting work.

4. "Get a pro" and contractor referrals

When you request a pro, DIYrr shares your job details and contact information with an independent local contractor (never more than one per request) so they can reach out to quote the work. DIYrr does not employ, supervise, warrant, or guarantee the work of any contractor shown or referred through the App. Any agreement you reach with a contractor is solely between you and that contractor.

5. Materials pricing

Prices shown for materials are estimates pulled from third-party retailers at the time of your request and may be inaccurate, outdated, or unavailable. Always confirm price and availability with the retailer before purchasing.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the App for any unlawful purpose; attempt to circumvent usage limits, scrape or systematically extract data from the App; submit content that is illegal, abusive, or infringes another person's rights; or interfere with the App's operation or security. We may suspend or terminate access for any violation of these terms.

7. Intellectual property

The App, its design, knowledge content, and underlying software are the property of Karhan Companies LLC and are protected by copyright and other laws. All rights reserved. You retain ownership of the descriptions and photos you submit; by submitting them, you grant us a license to process them (including via our AI provider) solely to provide the App's features to you.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app's guidance is complete, current, or suitable for your specific situation.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Karhan Companies LLC and its owner, officers, and contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of property, injury, or other harm arising from your use of the app, reliance on its guidance, or your interactions with any contractor referred through the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed one hundred dollars ($100).

10. Governing law & disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of- law principles. Before filing a claim, you agree to first contact us at the email below so we can try to resolve the issue informally. Any dispute that can't be resolved informally will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Orange County, Florida.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the date above and note it in the app. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated terms.
